Super computer Watson, created by IBM, has the potential to revolutionise medicine according to Steve Kotler, author of 'Bold' and 'Tomorrowland'.
Kotler told the summit that Watson had been “sent to medical school” by his creators and uploaded to the Cloud, with the potential to eliminate human error in diagnoses.
“When you consider that the third leading cause of death in America is medical misdiagnosis – this is a game changer, and even more so for places like sub-Saharan Africa where there is shortage of doctors,” he said.
