Nakheel named leading partner for government summit

The second Government Summit, held under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has announced Nakheel as its leading partner as part of the summit’s continuous efforts to attract outstanding partnerships at national and international levels.
This year’s summit will be held from February 10 to 12 in Dubai under the theme ‘Leading Government Services’.

“Nakheel is honoured to support the UAE Government Summit 2014, which will unite the public and private sectors to explore how creativity and innovation can be used to deliver new concepts in customer service and experience in accordance with the UAE Vision 2021,” said Nakheel chairman Ali Rashid Lootah.

The summit in its second edition has established partnerships with a number of international organizations and institutions such as the United Nations and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, and at a national level with the Mohammad Bin Rashid School of Government as a Knowledge Partner.

Following the overwhelming success of the Government Summit in its first edition, the UAE University is also coming on board as another major knowledge partner while the World Economic Forum will be a strategic partner.

Aiming to take advantage of the experiences of the private sector, the Government Summit has succeeded in attracting partnerships with a number of national institutions and leading companies in the UAE private sector, including Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company (du) and Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank.

The summit will be attended by over 3,500 delegates and over 60 regional and international speakers and intellectuals.

It will witness the launch of a series of international reports on the development of government services, see the proposal of many worksheets and constructive discussions that will contribute to the expansion and dissemination of knowledge and model government sector development in the region.
