Administrator - The Department of Labor and Employment - Philippines

Administrator Bernard P. Olalia is the current Administrator of the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA), an agency of the Philippine Government responsible for opening the benefits of the overseas employment program and is assigned to monitor and supervise recruitment agencies in the Philippines. Previously, he served as the Undersecretary of the Philippine Department of Labor and Employment as the head of the Human Capital Development and Regional Operations. A lawyer by profession, Administrator Olalia is a graduate of Bachelor of Laws from the University of the Philippines in 1991 and has been a member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines from 1992 to present. He finished his undergraduate studies from the Ateneo De Manila University with a degree of Bachelor of Laws Major in Legal Management.
