BA in Physiological Sciences, Oriel College, Oxford University; BM BChir, Downing College, Cambridge University. 1991-2011, with Goldman Sachs; ran the Investment Banking Division in Asia ex-Japan, and latterly as Vice-Chairman, Asia. He then joined CPPIB first as Head of International and then served as President and CEO for five years.
